Exodus 20:2 - 17 And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

[1] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

[2]Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

[3]Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

[4]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

[5]Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

[6]Thou shalt not kill.

[7]Thou shalt not commit adultery.

[8]Thou shalt not steal.

[9]Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

[10]Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

The First Angel Message

Revelation 14:6, 7, 6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

This first Angel message proclaims the everlasting gospel: salvation through Christ’s righteousness and grace—the angel announces that the time of judgment has come and calls people back to the true worship of God, recognizing Him as the Creator.

The call to worship God as Creator places upon people the responsibility to observe the day that honors His creative act. “The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not.

The Second Angel's message

Revelation 14:8, 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great City because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 

This second message announces the fall of Babylon; it announces the preaching of judgment, calling God’s people who are still in Babylon to come out so that they will not participate in her sins and avoid the plagues to be poured out upon her.

The Third Angel Message

In Revelation 14:9-12 – 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

This third angel message states that we are not to worship the beast or its image, or we will receive its mark.

The mark of the beast is the observance of worshipping a false day. This will see the sabbath observer being persecuted, etc., because they keep God's Sabbath Day Holy.

 As the storm approaches, a large class who have professed faith in the third angel’s message, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition. By uniting with the world and partaking in its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they leave the true faith and become the most bitter enemies of God's Remnant people.

Let us hold on to God's promises, read His words, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. Only through the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit can we gain victory as we prepare for the outpouring of the latter rain to help us proclaim this three Angels' message to the world. God bless.

Both are important testimonies to the origin and perpetuity of God's law. Both are witnesses also to the plan of salvation. The types, sacrifices, and prophecies of the Old Testament point forward to a Savior to come. The Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament tell of a Savior who has come in the exact manner foretold by type and prophecy.

15. Did You Know that God doesn't save us from the problems we find ourselves in at times?

16. He saves us while in the problem, like the three Hebrew boys, Daniel in the lion's den, and Peter in the pot of hot oil, to name a few.

17. God will not save us from our problems; He saves us while in the problem. 

18. Only when we put our trust in Him and face it each day will the devil be ashamed.
